Turning Point's Annual Benefit

Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center celebrated its 45th year of service with a sold out benefit honoring U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (Evanston) , First Bank & Trust Managing Director Jay Lytle (Evanston), Turning Point Therapist Julie Rooney and Shure, Inc. Senior Software Manager and Electrical Engineer Paul Rooney (Chicago). The theme of this year's benefit was "Celebrating Stories of Recovery and Resilience." Approximately 200 people attended the event at the Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette. Event supporters included former Evanston Mayor Lorraine Morton and Illinois State Senator Daniel Biss. The event grossed over $76,000 to support Turning Point's mental health services and programs.
