Tell us what makes your business different from other wedding companies?
Our high line is made in Chicago bespoke suits, tuxedos, dinner jackets, and custom clothing with fabrics from Italy – grooms fly in for our service and get the perfect look for their big day (and many times, the rehearsal dinner and day after brunch too). Our designers have been trained in Italy, and we have a full showroom, onsite master tailor, and team approach, so you can be sure you’re making the right decisions for the perfect look.
What would you like to be the new trend for weddings?
A trend we’ve been seeing and hope to continue is when our grooms step up their full wedding weekend look. Most guys have been purchasing a custom suit or sport coat for their rehearsal dinner, and often times a custom polo or custom casual button-down for the day-after brunch. It’s been commonplace for brides to wear something new all weekend long (often all white attire) so it’s been fun helping our grooms follow suit.
What sets your brand or business apart?
Our Designers are trained in Italy at the fabric mills, use a team approach, we have a full showroom with on-site Master Tailor, and we have access to the most luxurious and unique fabrics in Chicago through our exclusive fabric mill partners. We are also the only Bespoke Made in Chicago clothier: Your fabric comes from Italy and never leaves Chicago while it’s made. No one else can do that.
What is one of the most unique elements you have seen in a wedding?
We’re lucky to offer several! A custom jacket lining is always a special touch and we’ve featured photos of the couple, pets and even sports themes to personalize the interior. Our clients love adding a custom inscription in their clothing as well – while this is common for us, adding a wedding hashtag, location coordinates, or even the wedding date makes for a great photo op. Something new our tailor has been doing is a step further in customization, by implementing modern technology with old world tailoring. We can now add inscriptions to match handwriting, custom monograms, and even logos to mirror other wedding décor details. One couple used the custom monogram from their invites to personalizes the groom’s jacket. That is attention to detail!
Do you do anything that is signature to your brand?
This season we’ve introduced custom printed linings inside the tuxedo or suit jacket which can be made from pictures. We had one couple who weren’t able to bring their puppy to the ceremony, so they printed him inside the jacket lining and he was with them! Other couples have made picture collages of how they met, it’s adorable!
