THE PEOPLE The much-anticipated benefit was organized by host committee co-chairs Katherine Banich, Meghan Norton and Maria Shideler; also in attendance were honorary chairs John and Rita Canning, who have supported Sweet Home Chicago since its inception in 2004. THE PINNACLE Guests enjoyed a tempting brunch amid festive holiday decor by James Papajohn of The Flower Firm. Highlights of the event included gingerbread house decorating, balloon artistry by Magical Balloon-dude Dale, visits with Santa, a chance to cuddle with K-9 comfort dogs and a special music performance by Grammy-nominated band Ralph’s World.
