Embark on a sensory journey to the highlands of Arandas, Jalisco with every indulgent sip of Tequila 1349. A women-inspired additive-free tequila rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. Now available in two expressions , a crisp smooth Blanco, from field to bottle and an agave forward Reposado, aged in American charred oak barrels. This small batch tequila ensures quality and consistency every time. Each expression is known for its distinctive profile, a must have for tequila lovers!

Located at the northern tip of the world-famous Golden Triangle in the highlands, founder Lizzy Lopez comes from three generations of agave farmers. Partnering with a 3rd generation of master distillers, the expert brothers at Casa Aceves Spirits are continually using their time honored traditions to create the best and the purest tequila together with our farming focused on responsibility and sustainability.

A third Tequila 1349 expression is underway, the Añejo. This is currently aging in french oak barrels back in Arandas and will be finished in Armagnac barrels attempting something for the first time, making this profile a highly anticipated one! An exclusive surprise collaboration will be revealed later this year, too. The Añejo should be available in the fall/winter of 2024.

The inspiration for Tequila 1349 began back in 2016 when Lizzy was given an acre of family land in Arandas, Jalisco.

“I was born in Chicago but spent 11 years living there during my youth in that part of Mexico, I always loved the rich traditions and complexities that go into tequila making. So when I received the land, I planted my own blue weber agave starting with 1,349 plants. And in 2021, I had the opportunity to fund this venture and got straight to work, bringing my vision to life – and Tequila 1349 was born.

As I've gotten older, I have submerged myself into the history of tequila making, learning something everyday and the artistry and the hustle that is required to bring it to life. So one of the things that excites me the most about the industry its the unique flavor and versatility. The most fascinating part of the tequila production process is the agave plant itself. Different varieties of the plant can make different kinds of profiles. It’s also continues to be a dominating spirit in the market. It is a worldwide business that offers so much opportunity for growth and innovation. I want to foster an environment of creativity and productivity and inspire other women like minded in this business.”
