Style is a state of mind and fashion a means of expression, which is all the more important in our rapidly changing world. We check in with Chicago's sartorial stars for some words of wisdom.
CORRI MCFADDEN, MOTHER, INNOVATOR, ENTREPRENEUR
The biggest change in my life since I was featured in 2012 is... I moved with my family to Aspen.
The most amazing thing to happen since I became a Woman of Style was... I became a mother to daughter Zelda and have another baby girl on the way this fall.
My big news is... I started living life for myself and my family, and I’m the happiest I have ever been.
For me, 2020 has brought... extreme insight and grounding.
I never expected that... I would leave Chicago, but the mountains were calling.
What I’m most passionate about right now is… my new jewelry business, Rachel Lynn x Corri Lynn, and my LIVE! Sales on Instagram that I host monthly (@corrimcfadden).
My proudest achievement is... pioneering luxury consignment and after 15 years being able to step away and reset myself into another passion that excites me.
To me, style means... feeling good and taking the time to put yourself together in a way that reflects who you are today, not who you were at one time.
My favorite designer of the moment is… Christian Siriano, always.
I am supporting my local community by... helping give back and raise awareness of other small businesses. Even though I moved away from Chicago, I still support LaTanya & The Youth of Englewood in a variety of ways (you should too!).
