Details: Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by an astounding 10-story faceted window wall designed by Chicago-based Krueck + Sexton Architects. Housed inside is a building 100% powered by renewable energy that has been awarded a Silver LEED Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Once inside, guests are welcomed in by friendly and helpful staff, who are happy to be a part of such a special occasion. As weddings take place on our top two floors, our 9th and 10th floors, guests will be ushered onto one of our three elevators to make their way upstairs.
First stop will be the 10th Floor Atrium, where guests may be greeted by a complimentary sparkling wine toast. Venue SIX10 manages your bar package, and we think all weddings deserve a few bubbles. So, we are happy to provide all wedding guests with a complimentary sparkling wine toast during your event.
If your ceremony is onsite, guests will be directed to the 10th Floor Gallery10. This space can hold up to 300 seated guests in venue provided chairs for a ceremony plus (almost) any décor your heart desires. Venue SIX10 is excited to offer our wedding clients use of 18 custom colorized up-lights that can help create a romantic vow exchange.
Once you two love birds have kissed, guests will be excited to partake in a joyous cocktail hour around the 10th Floor Atrium and our outdoor terrace with bites from one of our five exclusive caterers. Our five exclusive caterers include: Food for Thought, Blue Plate, Entertaining Company, Jewell Events Catering and Mantra by Indian Garden. Guests will be able to enjoy these bites at our various cocktail tables and lounge furniture, while you are enjoying a private platter in our Landmark Room.
When it is time for dinner, guests will be asked to move to our 9th Floor Crown Family Great Hall, which they have previewed from up above throughout the cocktail hour. Our 9th Floor can accommodate 300 seated guests at venue provided tables and chairs while leaving room for a large dancefloor and entertainment space. Throughout dinner, guests can enjoy a slideshow via the projector and screen. Family and friends love to reminisce on the story of your love.
After everyone has laughed and cried at toasts and first dances, they can enjoy jaw-dropping city views from Venue SIX10’s floor-to-ceiling windows. These 16ft. windows provide views of the fireworks at Navy Pier, Grant Park, Lake Michigan and so much more. At the end of the night, guests will all agree, Venue SIX10 is the place to be and will rave about your nuptials for years.
