The Party: Chicago Children’s Charities hosted its eighth annual Derby Party at Zella in Lincoln Park, where the race only lasted a few minutes, but the festivities went all day.The Players: Chicago’s young socialites, including Jancy Walker, Julie Smith, Maria Ponce, Trey Berre, Kirstin Knott, Emily Markwell, Molly Beeken, Becca Soske, Erin Vondra and Natalie Duell dressed to impress in race day attire—seersucker suits and Nantucket reds for the men while the ladies looked glam in floppy hats and bright fascinators—for the sold-out event. Guests sipped Maker’s Mark mint juleps and mimosas under white tents to the tunes of Billy Ray Valentine.
