The always-lively annual Zoo Ball fundraiser was hosted by The Women’s Board of Lincoln Park Zoo to help keep admission free and support animal care and conservation efforts.
More than 800 Chicago philanthropists and animal advocates, including co-chairs Nina Winston Kohnand Angie Euston, Dr. Megan Ross, Fran Edwardson and more, attended the black-tie affair, which was adorned with decor reminiscent of the stunning African sunset.
Guests were treated to a performance by The Don Cagen Orchestra before an auction, led by Alyssa Quinlan, kicked off. The evening drew a record-breaking amount of more than $1.5 million.
